BGSU trustees choose Pauken as new secretary

BOWLING GREEN A new secretary to the board and assistant to the president has been selected by the Bowling Green State University board of trustees.

Patrick Pauken, an associate professor of policy and leadership studies, will organize meetings of the trustees and serve as the liaison and coordinate communication between the university s president, trustees, and administration.

Mr. Pauken, past chairman of the BGSU faculty senate, replaces Linda Dobb, board secretary since July, 2003, who accepted the librarian post at California State University-East Bay.

BGSU Interim President Carol Cartwright said Mr. Pauken brings a great deal of experience and knowledge of the university to the board secretary role.
