The University of Toledo will become the home to a procurement technical assistance center to help businesses navigate government contracts.
The center will be on the first floor of the university s Clean and Alternative Energy Incubator at Dorr Street and Westwood Avenue. A ribbon cutting is set for 10 a.m. today.
The program provides information on how to obtain federal, state, local, and university government contracts. It is funded through a partnership of the federal Defense Logistics Agency, Ohio Department of Development s Minority Business Division, and UT.
Toledo s center previously was housed by the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce.
