Lourdes College has established a new dean of students position in response to years of record enrollment.
Kimberly Grieve, who has worked at the college 16 years, has been named to the job with a priority of ensuring students have full access to programs and services to assist their personal and academic success.
The dean of students is responsible for overseeing services related to accessibility, careers, counseling, and others. Ms. Grieve also will co-direct the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Services.
She previously was the director in charge of Lourdes disability services and federal student support programs TRiO and Upward Bound. Ms. Grieve has a bachelor s degree in education from Michigan State University and a master s in education and PhD in higher education, both from the University of Toledo. In the spring, Lourdes College broke its enrollment record for the sixth consecutive semester with 2,028 students.
