TIFFIN Tiffin University is expanding its international presence by extending its MBA program into Asia.
The master s of business administration degree program will offer classes in Taipei this fall, the university s first venture into the Asian market, said Perry Haan, dean of the business school. Obviously, the Asian markets, in and around China in particular, are growing, so they are very important places for American business to be, Mr. Haan said.
TU is working with the Chinese International Academic Institute for that program. The university has additional MBA programs starting this fall in Warsaw and Poznan in Poland and Prague in the Czech Republic.
Last fall, TU added a second location in Romania. In addition to the long-standing program in Bucharest, the university now has an MBA program in Timisoara, Romania.
TU offers those programs through a partnership with the University of Bucharest. Faculty will travel from Tiffin to those countries to teach.
