Monroe school anniversary volunteers sought

BLADE STAFF

MONROE — The Monroe Public Schools and the Monroe High School Alumni Association are looking for volunteers to help plan the celebration of the high school's sesquicentennial year in 2012-13.

The volunteers are needed for a planning/steering group that is being formed.

The group's first meeting will be next week.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering should call the school district at 734-265-3185 no later than Friday.
