With an independent consulting firm set to begin a comprehensive audit of Toledo Public Schools' operations, a local conservative group that pushed for the audit held a community workshop about the performance audit process.
About 70 people attended the workshop by the Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition at the Maumee Indoor Theater on Tuesday. Presentations were given by representatives from the State Auditor's Office and Evergreen Solutions, the company selected last month to conduct a TPS performance audit.
