FINDLAY — The University of Findlay expanded a fund-raising effort to raise money for a new business college and scholarships.
The university on Thursday announced it would bump an initial $40 million fund-raising goal to $50 million to build a $15 million college of business facility, expand parking, and create more green space.
The university has raised $35 million since the initial campaign began in 2010 and hopes to have fund-raising finished in 2015. Money raised supports university operations, scholarship endowments, classrooms, and other projects.
Most business classes are held in the university’s Old Main building. Space used in that building will be reallocated for other purposes, a spokesman said.
