Kyla Gorey is an outstanding educator who takes her passion and excitement for art and translates it to her students. She is constantly innovating in her classroom and helped oversee tremendous growth in the art classes offered at Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School and Academy. While allowing room for personal creativity, she also pushes the students to work harder than they thought they could. Her students consistently perform at a high level.
Kyla is the sole creator of the Digital Photography and Ceramics courses at Cardinal Stritch and oversaw a student who won a Gold Key (highest recognition) in the National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition.
“We are incredibly blessed to have Kyla Gorey on our staff at Stritch Catholic,” said Kevin Parkins, Principal. “She is a dynamic leader of students and helps them realize their full potential. Her support for students, both in and out of the classroom, is changing lives.”
