Columbia Gas rate rises to 63 cents for August

Columbia Gas of Ohio Inc. said Wednesday that its customer rate in August will be 63 cents per 100 cubic feet of natural gas, a penny higher than this month’s rate. The new rate is based on Wednesday’s natural-gas commodity closing price of 44 cents on the New York Mercantile Exchange, plus 19 cents for a state-regulated service charge.
