Columbia Gas to replace steel pipeline in Luckey
Columbia Gas of Ohio Inc. said it will spend $1.6 million to upgrade its natural gas pipeline system in Luckey, Ohio.
The utility said it will replace steel pipeline with a 26,000-foot state-of-the-art plastic system. Residential and commercial customers will have gas meters relocated outside if necessary.
The work will require a temporary interruption of service, but customers who are affected will receive a letter in advance notifying them of scheduled work.
