Sauder Village offers farming and gardening classes

Sauder Village, on State Rt. 2 in Archbold, will continue a series of farming and gardening classes at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on selected dates through September.

Classes are $10, or $8.50 per session for members.

The workshops help you learn how to pick the best produce, use it to make money-saving meals, and store the rest for winter. Classes are limited to 25.

The topics include: Pickling on Aug. 3, Tomatoes Aug. 17, Corn Aug. 31, and Cold Storage Sept. 21. For reservations, call 800-590-9755.
