Southview Black Oaks Savanna

Nature lovers received an educational tour of the Southview Black Oaks Savanna, featuring remnants of the sandy dunes left behind from the glacial thaw 12,000 years ago. About a dozen hikers met at Organic Bliss on King Road at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, to tour the seven acres that makeup the Oak Openings patchwork of habitats across the northwest Ohio region. GED ceremony at Owens Community College

The Center for Fine and Performing Arts Mainstage Theatre at Owens Community College's Perrysburg Township campus was where more than 50 area residents were honored for their academic success, obtaining a GED degree Sunday, May 19, 2013. Downtown Sylvania car show: 5-18

HEAR Ye, Hear Ye. The Order of the Heel Award was presented to Jeni Belt, a partner at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick who has an expertise in health law, during the Toledo Junior Bar Association Gridiron Wednesday at the Valentine Theatre. Barbara also visits the Toledo Symphony League Gala “Friday Night Lights” and the Elinor “Ellie” Shutts Baker on May 11 at Carranor Hunt and Polo Club in Perrysburg.
