A Northern Ohio Vegetable Crops Field Night will be 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, at 1165 CR 43, Fremont. Discussed will be trap cropping to manage beetles and bacterial wilt on muskmelons, grafting tomatoes and their use in industry, worms and biocontrol on cabbage, and insect update/thrip trials on cabbage. It will be at the Ohio Agriculral Research and Development Center's North Central Agricultural Research Station, a 105-acre research farm on sandy loam and clay loam soils.
