Zielinski upended in final

MASON, Ohio - Fifteen-year-old Kelsey Lindenschmidt beat Heather Zielinski of Sylvania in the championship round yesterday at Terrace Park Country Club to become the youngest winner of the Women's Ohio Amateur.

Lindenschmidt of West Chester beat Zielinski 5 and 3 in 33 holes of the 36-hole final.

Lindenschmidt, who won the Ohio Junior Girls championship last week, will be a sophomore at Cincinnati St. Ursula Academy.

Jennifer Selfinger of Columbus defeated Candace Artz of Stow 1-up in 19 holes in the consolation round.
