U.S. Senior Open at Inverness tickets on sale

Tickets for next summer's U.S. Senior Open at Inverness Club will go on sale Tuesday on the golf tournament's Web site and on Sept. 1 at all area Kroger stores.

Weekly grounds and upgrade tickets for the July 25-31, 2011 event are available at 2011ussenioropen.com and through the tournament office at 419-536-2011.

Upgrade tickets include access to the S.P. Jermain Pavilion, a sports bar-type venue with a food court and outdoor seating near the 16th green.

The tournament also announced Monday that it will begin accepting volunteer applications for ages 11 and older at its Web site.
