FT. WALTON BEACH. Fla. - After trailing 13-10 after one quarter, St. John's Jesuit roared back for a 59-35 boys basketball victory over Pensacola (Fla.) in the Ft. Walton Beach holiday tournament.
John Floyd led the Titans (5-1) with 14 points and Ryan Taylor added 11.
Alex Gordon scored 14, including 10 in the first quarter, for Pensacola (3-2).
The Titans play Milton (Fla.) today.
Northview scored the game's first nine points at Whitmer and also started the second half with a 10-2 spurt.
Steve Horner led the Wildcats (5-2) with 25 points and 11 rebounds.
Ryan Vinciguerra added 14 points for Northview and Charles Wynn had 10.
Matt Calhoun and Dave Veres each scored 12 for Whitmer (4-3).
A 17-4 run just before halftime and 23-of-27 shooting from the foul line helped Perrysburg improve to 6-0.
Hal Munger led the Jackets with 26 points, Tony Ottomanelli added 21 points and Burke Badenhop 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Brad Borough handed out 12 Jacket assists.
Sandusky (1-5) got 25 points from Issian Redding and 18 from Antoine Stockett.
FOSTORIA 88, CLYDE 86
FOSTORIA - The Redmen scored just two points in the second overtime - but that was enough.
Micheaux Robinson scored the winning basket at the buzzer. He finished with 16 points. Treyvon McBeth led Fostoria (4-3) with 25 points.
Clyde (1-6) got 20 points apiece from Mike Stull and Jake Keegan, whose 3-pointer in regulation forced overtime.
