COLUMBUS - Scott and Libbey were both ranked in the top 10 yesterday in the first weekly Associated Press boys high school basketball poll of the season.
The Bulldogs (7-1) are No. 6 and the Cowboys (8-1) are No. 10 in Division I. St. John's Jesuit earned enough votes to place 12th.
Cincinnati St. Xavier (Division I), Ottawa-Glandorf (Division II), Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary (Division III) and Lancaster Fisher Catholic (Division IV) are the No. 1 teams.
Liberty-Benton (8-0) is third in Division III. Otsego (7-0) is No. 10.
Holgate (8-1) is No. 6 in Division IV.
St. Xavier and St. Vincent-St. Mary picked up right where they left off last March. St. Xavier won the Division I state crown. St. Vincent-St. Mary completed a 27-0 season with the Division III championship.
