Boys basketball: Ottomanelli leads hot-shooting Jackets

Tony Ottomanelli hit six treys in the game and Perrysburg hit 12 of 14 shots from the field in a 27-point third quarter in an 81-50 Northern Lakes League win over Rossford last night at Perrysburg.

Ottomanelli finished with 24 points for the Jackets (11-3, 8-1), Burke Badenhop added 18 points and Hal Munger 11.

The Jackets finished 31 of 56 from the field.

Darren Paige led Rossford with 12 points.

ANTHONY WAYNE 43, MAUMEE 38

Anthony Wayne hit 14 of 16 from the free throw line while the Panthers made just 2 of 6.

Jeff Telmanik led AW (8-5, 6-3 NLL) with 14 points, Dylan Jaskolski had 13 and Keith Mikes 10. Sean DeWitte led Maumee (9-6, 5-4) with 10 points.

NORTHVIEW 67, SPRINGFIELD 26

Kevin Croke had 13, Steve Horner 11 and Ryan Vinciguerra had 10 for Northview (13-2, 8-1 NLL). Matt Kelly and Matt Hall each had nine for Springfield.

BOWLING GREEN 47, SOUTHVIEW 43

Andy Rappold scored 19 points, Chris Hanna had 17 and the Bobcats hit 12 of 16 foul shots. Nate Smith led Southview with 16.

EVERGREEN 49, HILLTOP 40

METAMORA - Dan Stong and Jake Teal each scored 16 points and Matt Mossing had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Evergreen.

SWANTON 58, LAKE 45

SWANTON - Chris Keesey powered the Bulldogs with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Matt DeLauter and Scott Conley tallied 14 each for Lake .

NORTHWOOD 36, NORTH BALTIMORE 35

Jonas Medrano scored the winning basket - his only points - with 12 seconds left. Ken Wines led Northwood with 16. Jeremy Miklovic led North Baltimore with 19.

MAUMEE VALLEY 89, STRITCH 72

Tyler Boehm scored 24 points and Josh Radtkin and Chris Joo each had 20 for Maumee Valley (9-5, 5-2 TAAC). Aaron Mochon had 11 and Brandon Toler 10 for Cardinal Stritch (4-8, 3-4).

OTTAWA HILLS 59, TOLEDO CHRISTIAN 41

Kevin Crooks led Ottawa Hills with 19, Austin Irving had 12 and Dan Jamieson 10. Aaron Whitlow and Jason Schaff each scored 10 for Toledo Christian.

DANBURY 67, EMMANUEL BAPTIST 53

LAKESIDE - Derek Ensign had 18 points and 13 rebounds for Danbury. Drew Flamm had 18 points, Lance Bernhard 12 and Steve Morris 11 points and 11 rebounds for Emmanuel Baptist.

ONSTED 68, ERIE MASON 35

ONSTED - John Ruttkofsky scored 15 points and Onsted hit 22 of 40 foul shots. Eric Turner led Erie Mason with 10.

MADISON 43, WHITEFORD 42

OTTAWA LAKE - Justin Pooley scored 20 points and Tavarski Wallace scored the winning basket.

Andy Gittus scored 16 and Nate Gust 14 for Whiteford.
