Boys basketball: Badenhop leads Patriots to 68-52 win

HAMLER - Patrick Henry jumped to a 21-11 lead after one quarter and Jordan Badenhop scored 22 points to lead the Patriots to a 68-52 victory over Van Buren last night.

Rob Flick added 12 points and Jared Rohrs 10 for Patrick Henry (13-7), which outrebounded Van Buren 27-16.

Kurt Hassink led Van Buren (15-5) with 15 points, Jeff Middletown added 12 and Tristos Tagliapietra 10.


PIONEER - Archbold romped despite having just one player in double figures - Jason Rose - with just 12 points.

Eleven Streaks scored as Archbold, which led 30-13 at the half, improved to 15-5.

Andy Short had 16 points for North Central.


PEMBERVILLE - Lucas Stearns scored 24 points and Nick Kerlin added 15 for the Stockaders (17-3).

Drew Gaietto and Bart Ortiz each added 13 for Old Fort.

Eastwood, which drops to 15-4, was paced by Ross Lingenfelder's 19. Brent Snyder added 14 and D.J. Michel and Matt Nabors each had 10.
