Rowe limits choices to Findlay and Bentley

Southview quarterback Kelley Rowe has narrowed his college options down to the University of Findlay and Bentley College.

Rowe, the Blade player of the year who earned All-Ohio Division II recognition, expects to make his decision within a few days.

At 5-10, 180 pounds, the quarterback responsible for producing more than 3,300 total yards was considered too small to play quarterback by most Division I universities.

The University of Findlay and Bentley College are Division II programs. Rowe s brother, Jeff, is a wide receiver at Findlay, which is coached by former UT coach Dan Simrell. Bentley College is near Boston.

Kelley Rowe, a southpaw, completed 142 of 262 passes for 2,525 yards, including 22 touchdowns. He led the Cougars to the school s first 10-0 regular-season campaign.
