LAKESIDE - Jake Fanning scored 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out eight assists to lead Danbury (3-0, 1-0) past Toledo Christian 58-54 last night.
Jarret Ensign had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Lakers, and Cole Steinbrick had 10 rebounds.
Danbury was down by six with just under two minutes left in the game and went on a 10-0 run to pull out the victory.
Toledo Christian (2-2, 0-1) was paced by Zach Brichenham's 16 points.

Emmanuel Baptist 49
Eric McCloskey scored 17 points and Mike Ameling added 11 to pace Cardinal Stritch (2-2, 1-0).
Scott Nietz poured in 27 points for visiting Emmanuel Baptist (3-1, 0-1).
Each team hit five treys and Stritch went 9 of 19 from the foul line while Emmanuel Baptist hit 10 of 12.

Ottawa Hills pulled away with a 28-10 advantage in the fourth quarter at home.
Ryan Redmann paced the Green Bears (3-2, 1-0) with 23 points and nine rebounds. Andrew Wolff added 18 points and Aaron Crooks had 15 points and seven assists.
Craig Choka and Julius Banks had 14 points each and Kyle O'Connell added 10 points for Maumee Valley.
Ottawa Hills outscored Maumee Valley 23-10 at the foul line.
