Danbury stayed unbeaten in the TAAC - barely.
The visiting Lakers were shut out in the fourth quarter and had to go to overtime to defeat Ottawa Hills 41-39 last night.
The Green Bears (11-8, 8-4) took the Lakers' Jake Fanning out of his normal game - he had 7 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists - and outscored Danbury 8-0 in the fourth quarter.
But Thomas Clifton came through with 14 points and Rian Sloan had 13 for Danbury (17-0, 11-0).
Ryan Redmann paced Ottawa Hills with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Toledo Christian 76,
Maumee Valley 59
Kyle Bensch, coming into the game averaging 11 points per outing, hit six treys and scored 32 points for Toledo Christian (12-5, 7-3).
Blake Powell added 13 points.
Craig Choka led Maumee Valley (5-12, 1-10) with 17 and David Sanati had 12.
Emmanuel Baptist 59,
Visiting Emmanuel Baptist won in double overtime when Scott Nietz hit the winning shot at the buzzer.
Nietz led Emmanuel Baptist (8-11, 4-8) with 35 points and Zak Keeler added 10.
Corey Canaday led Northwood (5-12, 2-10) with 20 points and Ross Peters added 17, including five treys.
Brittany Barrera and Nicole Bergman had 13 points apiece as Cardinal Stritch defeated visiting Toledo Christian 59-48 and finished with a perfect 12-0 record in the TAAC.
Kelcee Evans added 12 points for the 15-5 Cardinals.
Emily Cellier had 18 points and Joanna Beauch 12 for the visiting Eagles (8-11, 5-6).
Cardinal Stritch led 34-24 at halftime and never led by fewer than eight points in the second half.
