Michigan: Flanner s 3 scores carry Bobcats

OTTAWA LAKE George Flanner rushed 11 times for 176 yards and three touchdowns as Whiteford jumped on Morenci right away in a 34-13 Tri-County Conference victory last night.

Flanner, who has rushed for more than 500 yards this season, scored on a 57-yard run on the game s first play from scrimmage, and Whiteford s Dan Ovall returned a fumble 25 yards for a score on the second play.

Flanner added TD runs of 38 and 34 yards for the Bobcats (3-1, 2-0 TCC), who rolled up 232 yards on the ground.

Andrew Rhoades kicked field goals of 22 and 34 yards.

Scott Martinez scored from the 4 for Morenci (2-2, 0-1) in the first quarter and Jeff Snyder ran 34 yards for a score in the fourth.

Zac Johnson rushed 10 times for 73 yards for the Bulldogs.

Blissfield 16, Onsted 13

ONSTED The Wildcats scored the first two touchdowns, but the Royals rallied to victory.

Dustin Brown tackled Onsted quarterback Zach Mulholland in the end zone in the second quarter to get Blissfield (4-0, 3-0 LCAA) within 13-2 at the half.

After intermission Tyler Wehner hauled in a 56-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Estes, who ran in the game-winner from the 4 with 5:34 left.

Keegan Hill caught a four-yard TD pass from Mulholland in the first quarter for Onsted (1-3, 1-1) and Carson Shell went 84 yards with another Mulholland completion in the second.

Dexter 23, Bedford 7

TEMPERANCE Jeff Ziegler threw for 273 yards, including touchdown passes of 16, 21 and 88 yards, for Dexter (2-2, 1-2).

Chris Kerekes rushed 14 times for 86 yards to pace the Mules (1-3, 0-3), who gained 95 yards on the ground and 86 through the air.

Bedford scored in the second quarter on a 22-yard pass from Mitchell Boss to Ian Kansurica.
