St. John s won the Division I boys race at the Clay Eagles Invitational cross country meet at Pearson Park. The Titans Chris Lemon and Joe Miller finished first and second with times of15:46.2 and 15:52, respectively. St. Francis was second.
Bowling Green won the girls title, as the Bobcats Christy Titus (18:40.9) and Barbara Powers (19:02.5) placed first and second, respectively.
In the Division II-III boys meet, Erie Mason was first. Delta took second. Corey Johnson of Eastwood finished first with a time of 16:12.60, followed by Erie Mason s Brandon Griffin (16:21.2).
Liberty-Benton captured the Division II-III girls race, while Erie Mason placed second. Wauseon s Holly Baird was the top individual at 19:21.40, while Kesha Brooks (19:29.9) of Liberty-Benton placed second.
