Schneider paves way for Findlay

FREMONT - Quarterback Chris Schneider passed for 191 yards and rushed for 79 and totaled two touchdowns to lead Findlay past Fremont Ross 34-27 last night at Harmon Field.

Schneider completed 11 of 17 passes and was intercepted once for the Trojans (7-1, 3-0 Greater Buckeye Conference).

Caleb Enright added 126 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns on 21 attempts. Zack Kraus had 70 yards receiving and a score on five receptions. Ryan Sottoway caught four passes for 74 yards.

Ross quarterback Aaron Opelt was 23-of-36 for 311 yards and an interception.

Sandusky 27,

Lima Senior 0

SANDUSKY - Jordan Edwards led the Blue Streaks with 130 yards rushing and a touchdown on 22 carries.

Edwards also passed for a score for Sandusky (3-5, 0-1 Buckeye). Quarterback Matt Feltner passed for a 30-yard TD and and for a 17-yard score.

Lima Senior dropped to 1-7, 0-3.

Defiance 38,

DEFIANCE - Jacquice King ran for 140 yards on 20 carries and scored two TDs, and Adam Wagner completed 17 of 23 paasses for 238 yards for Defiance (5-3).

Oak Harbor 21,

Port Clinton 7

PORT CLINTON - Tom Baker, Aaron McCune and Andy Warns each ran for between 90 and 100 yards for the Rockets (4-5, 3-2). Josh Wierzba rushed for 90 yards for the Redskins (3-5, 1-4).
