Perrysburg romps over Devils 25-6 third quarter gives Jackets jump
Springfield may have had lingering hope after trailing by 10 points at halftime last night, 31-21, but Perrysburg obliterated any such idea with a 25-6 third quarter advantage and rolled on to a 68-38 Northern Lakes League victory over the visiting Blue Devils.
Scott Perkins (15 points), Ian Milne (13) and Glen Empie (10) led the Yellow Jackets in scoring.
Fletcher Noble was high for Springfield with 11 points.
Perrysburg outscored the Blue Devils in every quarter and led 56-27 after three periods.
Anthony Wayne 82, Southview 51
Brent Papenfuss scored 16 points to lead 13 scorers for the Generals, who nailed 11 3-pointers in a romp.
Anthony Wayne led by 10 at the half and 17 after three quarters before finishing with a 28-point fourth quarter.
Andrew Riley and Colin Walton added 11 points apiece for the Generals.
Andrew Schilling scored 17 points and Tim Hausfeld chipped in with 10 for the Cougars.
Bowling Green 74, Northview 47
BOWLING GREEN - Ryan Hoehner and Brandon Radabaugh ripped the nets for 22 points apiece to lead Bowling Green (4-0, 2-0) to a win over Northview (1-3, 1-1).
Jordan Fortney hauled in seven rebounds and dished out 11 assists for the Bobcats.
Derek Andrzejczak scored 15 points for Northview and Sam Myers added 12 in a losing effort.
Maumee 67,
Rossford 41
Lamonte Dawson scored 24 points and Kipp Dawson added 15 as the Panthers led practically the entire game to beat the Bulldogs.
Trailing 28-18 at the half, Rossford was unable to cope with the sticky Maumee (3-2, 1-2) pressure in the second half, committing 21 turnovers.
Jason Duly led the Bulldogs (1-3, 0-3) with 16 points.
