NAPOLEON - Archbold stepped out of the the NWOAL last night and picked up a 46-43 boys basketball victory over Napoleon.
The Streaks (15-4) outscored the Wildcats 23-10 in the fourth quarter. Napoleon (8-9) led 29-11 at the half.
Josh Wyse led Archbold with 19 points and David Borcherdt added 14. The pair combined for seven 3-pointers.
Jeremy Davis led Napoleon with 10 points.
Liberty Center 61,
MONTPELIER - The Tigers broke away from the Locomotives with a 24-8 advantage in the third quarter.
Brian Babcock led Liberty Center (8-10, 5-3) with 21 points and Kasey Bodenbender added 13.
Britt Barry led Montpelier (3-16, 0-8) with 15 points.
Evergreen 53, Bryan 32
METAMORA - Corey Truckor tallied a game-high 16 points and Viking teammate Tyler Winn added 11 as Evergreen built a lead, then pulled away at the free throw line.
Deiter Held paced the Bears with 13 points.
For the game, the Vikings (11-8, 4-4) made 21 of 30 free throws while Bryan (6-13, 2-6) sank 5 of 10.
