Roethlisberger leads Findlay girls

FREMONT Carlee Roethlisberger scored 17 points to lead Findlay to a 51-24 victory over Fremont Ross in Greater Buckeye Conference girls basketball last night.

The Trojans (17-3, 10-0) led 26-6 at the half and outscored the Little Giants 14-3 at the free throw line.

Ashley Long tallied 11 points for the Little Giants (2-18, 0-10). Victoria Long grabbed eight rebounds.


FORT JENNINGS Stacey Niese, Mel Schroeder and Melanie Rieman scored 12 points each for the Wildcats, who built a 22-17 lead at the half and held on.

Brooke Norbeck tallied 13 points and Amber Schuerman had 10 for the Musketeers.
