Darling scores 35 in Genoa victory

GENOA - Brittany Darling scored 35 points, and Genoa scored 25 points in the fourth quarter to defeat Oak Harbor 70-61 last night in girls basketball.

Darling had 15 2-point field goals, matching Oak Harbor's team total. Abbey Kontak and Simone Eli added 11 points apiece for the Comets.

Danielle Zurvalec scored 17, Jillian McFarlan 12 and Erica Lipstraw 11 for Oak Harbor.

ROGERS 55, FREMONT ROSS 44

Alisia Brewer scored 15 points, Jasmine Crosby had 12 and Laquarrie Parnell grabbed eight rebounds to pace Rogers.

Ashley Long led visiting Fremont Ross with 13 points.

NORTHWOOD 43, LIBBEY 24

Marissa Reighard paced Northwood with 16 points while Stephanie Morris paced visiting Libbey with eight.

FINDLAY 57,

ANTHONY WAYNE 42

Carlee Roethlisberger scored 19 points and Ashley Peterson and Christina Cruce added 10 apiece to lead visiting Findlay, which outscored Anthony Wayne 13-1 in the third quarter.

Allison Papenfuss led AW with 15 and Jordyn Sadowski had 11.

ROSSFORD 45, FOSTORIA 42

Katie Keller scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Rossford opened with a victory. Christine Nirschl added 10 for the Bulldogs. Stephanie Loomis led visiting Fostoria with 18 points and Aja Hall added 10.

EVERGREEN 61, OTSEGO 54

TONTOGANY - Taylor Langenderfer scored 20 points, Tasha Patek added 12, Steph Bohland 11 and Blair Bohland 10 for Evergreen.

Alysha Gruelich paced Otsego with 17, Kara Dickey added 14 and Baley Bernthisel 10.

ELMWOOD 61,

BLOOMDALE - Brooke Morgart poured in 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to pace Elmwood. Angie Alesch added 12 points for the Royals.

Whitney Lane led Bowling Green with 13 points.

OLD FORT - Ann Clark scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace Gibsonburg. Lindsay Hill added 13 points.

Mandi Leemaster led Old Fort with 16, Amy Cuff added 12 and Emily Cleveland 10.

Lacey Anagnostu led a balanced Emmanuel Christian attack with 11 points.

NEW RIEGEL - Jackie Reinhart paced New Riegel with 18 points. Katie Bocki had 11 for Cardinal Stritch.

PERKINS 83, DANBURY 54

SANDUSKY - Cierra Bravard scored 21 for Perkins and Megan Twarek matched that total for Danbury.

NORTH BALTIMORE - Alexis Holman scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Maumee Valley. Brittany Vanamon scored 13 for North Baltimore.

WAUSEON - Krista Roe scored 14 points to pace Wauseon, which outrebounded Archbold 37-23 but committed 18 turnovers to the Streaks' seven. Alexa Kennedy paced Archbold with 12 points and Adrianne Lange added 10.

DELTA - Jodi Spotts paced Pettisville with 10 points while Delta got 10 apiece from Erin McCulloch and Lauren Friess.

LIBERTY CENTER - Liberty Center won by outscoring Fayette 13-7 in the fourth quarter. Kaitlyn Rohrs led the Tigers with 14 points. Stephanie McCord scored 15 for Fayette.

BRYAN - Chelsea Gerken led Napoleon with 13 points while Jessie Fee scored 11 for Bryan.

DEFIANCE - Ashley Jackson led Defiance with 17 points and Marissa McDonald added 13.

Tiffany Ehlers paced PH with 16, Samantha Seeman had 11 and Jericha Benavides 10.
