Maumee Valley s Holman tops 1,000

Alexis Holman scored 32 points and topped the 1,000-point mark for her career as Maumee Valley rolled to a 64-46 victory at Emmanuel Christian last night in girls basketball.

Holman has 1,022 points in her career.

Hannah Spangler added 10 points for the Hawks (3-3, 1-2 Toledo Area Athletic Conference).

Emily Loomis led Emmanuel Christian (2-6, 0-4) with 15.Nicole Mundy added 10.

OTTAWA HILLS 61, TOLEDO CHRISTIAN 50

Megan Jamieson led Ottawa Hills (5-0, 4-0 TAAC) with 16 points.

Libby Overley added 11 and Jessie Figy 10.

Emily Cellier topped the visiting Eagles (3-4, 2-1) with 19. Joanna Beauch had 12.

DANBURY 41, STRITCH 37

LAKESIDE Megan Twarek scored 12 and Christine Longer 10 for Danbury (4-3, 2-2 TAAC).

Nicole Lamb led Cardinal Stritch (5-3, 2-1) with 11.

Sarah Clark had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Monclova Christian. Alli Meiring added 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Amanda Potter led the Panthers with eight points.

Taylor Langenderfer led Evergreen with 17.

Abby LaVigne led Swanton with 20. Michele Wilson tossed in 12.

HOLGATE Liza Clady scored 17 points, Beth Giesige had 16 and Kristi Rothman added 15 for Holgate.

Saige Meyer led Patrick Henry with 12.

MONTPELIER Wauseon was paced by Krista Roe s 19 points. Addue Tuckeman scored 15 and Taylor Creager 12.

Tabby Davis led Montpelier with 12.

BRYAN Lex Kennedy scored 25 points to lead Archbold (5-2, 3-1 NWOAL). Tara Gustwiller and Leah Lehman had 10 each.

Brigitte Kuszmaul and Jessie Fee each tallied 14 points for Byran (3-4, 2-1).

OAK HARBOR Danielle Zurvalec topped the Rockets (4-3, 3-2 SBC) with 13 points. Emily Hemminger added 10.

PORT CLINTON Cayla Keegan tallied 20 points for Margaretta. Brittany Morris had 14 and Brittany Nebbitt added 13.

FREMONT JonetteMcQueen and Carlee Roethlisberger scored 19 points each to lead Findlay (7-0, 3-0 GBC).

Christina Cruce added 14 and Emily Lause had 13.

OLD FORT Dani Papenfus led Fostoria St. Wendelin with 16. Francesa Tate had 15 and Lauren Geroski 14.

Mandi Leemaster led Old Fort with 12. Emily Cleveland added 10.

ST. JOSEPH 61, NEW RIEGEL 59

NEW RIEGEL Jill Walters hit two free throws with 5.9 seconds left in regulation, then Hannah Nagy scored six points in overtime to lead Fremont St. Joseph.

Walters and Nagy each finished with 12 points. Alyse Gonya added 11 and Megan Boukissen 10.

Rachelle Lucius led New Riegel with 26. Jackie Reinhart had 16.

HOPEWELL-LOUDON 62, TIFFIN CALVERT 23

BASCOM Courtney Ritzler led the Chieftains (7-0) with 18 points. Kim Hohman had 11.

Michelle Sikora led Calvert(0-6) with nine.
