City Girls: Roberts, Johnson pace Bowsher win

Tiara Roberts scored 18 points and Stephany Johnson had 13 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists to lead Bowsher to a 58-48 victory over Maumee last night.

Lindsay Diegel led Maumee with 24 points and Sasha Matyi added 10.

Bowsher took control with a 17-8 second-quarter advantage.

Notre Dame 75,

Harvest Prep 60

Jasmine Blanton scored 23 points to lead Notre Dame past Harvest Prep. Mary Delaney added 11 points and Patrice Lalor 10 for the Eagles. Panija Beasley led the visitors from Columbus with 26 points.

Rossford 46, Clay 42

Rossford played a near flawless third quarter, outscoring the Eagles 15-4 in the frame, to give itself a needed cushion entering the fourth.

Anne Yenrick led the Bulldogs (2-7) with 14 points. Lauren Taylor and Mollie Berry scored 13 and 10 points, respectively, for Clay.
