TAAC BOYS: Browarsky, Wolff pace Ottawa Hills

Andrew Wolff and Eliot Browarsky paced four Green Bears in double scoring figures as Ottawa Hills got by visiting Pettisville 62-57 last night.

Browarsky and Wolff scored 16 points apiece, while teammates Brent Abendroth and Andy Parker chipped in with 13 and 10, respectively.

Alex Nafziger paced the Blackbirds, who led 52-47 with 1:50 left, with a game-high 23 points. Jared Rohrer-Meck added 17 points for Pettisville, and Anthony Giovarelli netted 11.

The winning difference came from long range, as Ottawa Hills (6-2) had three 3-pointers to none for the Blackbirds, but it was four free throws at the end that sealed the victory.

Danbury 61,

Fremont St. Joe 45

LAKESIDE - Nick Wiedenhoft scored 19 points to lead Danbury (3-5) past Fremont St. Joe (0-7).

Ben Cantu scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and Kyle Schafer scored 12 for the Lakers.

Danbury went 23-of-29 from the free throw line while Fremont St. Joe was 19-of-30.

Derek Meyer led Fremont St. Joe with 10 points.
