Big plays help Rossford win

Rossford took advantage of some big plays and went on to defeat Delta 28-14 yesterday in a game that was postponed by storms Friday night.

Rossford running back Brandon Huner opened the scoring in the first quarter with an 80-yard touchdown run. Huner finished with 107 yards on 16 carries.

Schwind also added a one-yard touchdown run and kicked all four of Rossford's extra points.

Tyler Waclowski recorded 10 tackles to lead the Rossford defense, which was the difference in the game, according to Werbylo. It forced seven turnovers, including five in the first half.

"They played an outstanding game," he said.
