Maumee goes to 3-0

Maumee moved to 3-0 with a 44-30 victory last night at Bowsher.

Maumee assumed a 30-10 halftime lead and withstood a second-half Rebel comeback.

Panther quarterback Jake Goatley tossed for three touchdowns, completing 13 of 21 passes for 250 yards.

Goatley threw a 72-yard scoring bomb to Erik Studyvin, a 16-yard TD strike to James Borders and a 37-yard scoring pass to Mikkal Johnson.

Kyle Bowell opened the Panther scoring in the first quarter with a one-yard run.

Maumee finished with 351 yards through the air.

Sheron Brown ran for two TDs and compiled 185 yards on the ground for Bowsher (0-3).
