TECUMSEH, Mich. - Bedford got four touchdowns from Doug Harmon and three from Nate Davis to claim a 56-40 victory over Tecumseh last night.
Harmon finished with 241 rushing yards on 25 carries and scored on runs of 3, 7, 55 and 3 yards in the first half, giving the Mules (3-3, 3-2 SEC) a 42-18 lead.
Meanwhile Davis had TD runs of 35 and 4 yards in the second half and had 103 yards on seven carries while completing 3 of 4 passes for 68 yards.
GALION - Trevor Smith and Curtis Watson each scored two touchdowns for the Redmen (6-1). Smith totaled 71 yards on 10 carries while Watson completed 12 of 28 passes for 190 yards.
For Galion (5-2), Antwan Wallace scored two touchdowns, one a 90-yard kickoff return.
CLINTON, Mich. - Redskins quarterback Brandon Brewer ran for three touchdowns and accounted for 201 yards of total offense in the victory.
Scott Noble led all ball-carriers with 96 yards on eight rushes for Clinton (3-3, 3-1 TCC).
The Bobcats (2-4, 2-2) had just 134 yards of total offense.
SHERWOOD - James Elchinger threw for 394 yards and five touchdowns for the Apaches (6-1, 4-0 GMC).
Elchinger threw for two TD passes to his brother John and added scoring strikes to Andrew Woenker, Rodney Webb and Ben Wonderly, who caught 15 passes for 221 yards. Wonderly has set an Ohio record for career receptions with 309 in his career.
PORT CLINTON - The Rockets scored 21 points in the second quarter and held on for the victory.
Brock Harder scored on a 1-yard run and finished with 176 rushing yards on 36 carries for Oak Harbor, now 2-5 and 2-2.
DEFIANCE - Maty Mauk completed 28 of 43 passes for 345 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to the win.
Chase Barnes caught 10 passes for 176 yards and three TDs, while Bobby Handell and Max Morrison also had scoring passes for Kenton (4-3, 4-2 WBL).
Travis Spitnale finished with 123 yards rushing and a score for Defiance (5-2, 4-2).
IDA, Mich. - Ida (4-2, 2-2) got a pair of touchdowns each by the Bluestreaks' Paul Galloro, Nic Jobe and Dan Greenwood. Greenwood had 22 carries for 165 yards.
