Notre Dame tops Wauseon

Notre Dame outscored visiting Wauseon 19-13 in the first quarter and held on to claim a 53-47 girls basketball victory.

Jacquelyn Litle finished with 14 points, and Alex Adamski added 11 to lead the Eagles (5-3).

Taylor Creager scored 21 points for the Indians (6-2).

The Eagles jumped to a 25-4 advantage in the easy win.

Lauren Taylor's game-high 22 points led Clay, while Katie Butler scored eight for the Panthers.

Christine Longer scored 17 points for Danbury (7-2, 3-0 TAAC).

Nicole Lamb finished with 20 points, and Liz Speweik added 13 for the Cardinals (3-6, 2-2).

Lacey Anagnostu finished with a 27 points, including 20 in the first half, to lead Emmanuel Christian (1-7).

FAYETTE - Ashlee Polkinghorn scored 12 of her game-high 24 points to fuel the Bulldogs' 15-7 fourth-quarter comeback.

Danni Wyse scored 16 points to lead the Eagles.

UPPER SANDUSKY - Micah Hyde scored 24 points, and Colin Echelberry 22 for Fostoria.
