Phillip Beans went to the free throw line 19 times and collected 16 of his season-high 34 points as Ottawa Hills whipped visiting Danbury 93-51 last night.

The victory helped keep Ottawa Hills tied with Toledo Christian atop the Toledo Athletic Association Conference. Eliot Browarsky added 16 and J.J. Buckey 15 for the Green Bears (16-2, 10-1).
Michael Hamann scored 13 points for the Lakers, and that pulled him over the 1,000-point career total by one point.
Toledo Christian jumped out to a 24-12 lead after one quarter in the road rout.
Ethan Michael had 17 points, Grant Sims added 15 and Cory Brittenham 11 for the Eagles (12-6, 10-1).
Ryan Canaday led the Rangers (6-13, 3-8) with 17 points.
At Stritch, the Cardinals received 14 points from Justin Staler and 10 Patrick Hohenberger to go to 10-8 overall and 7-4 in the TAAC.
Carter Bayer led Maumee Valley (1-8, 4-12) with 15 points while Jangus Whitner provided 11.
