St. John's and Southview picked up Division I sectional basketball titles Friday night at Waite.
After leading by just two after the first quarter, the Titans (16-5) dominated the middle two by a 45-18 count to pull away for a 74-46 victory over the Wildcats.
Michael Taylor and Jake Springs each scored 14 points for St. John's and T.J. Gillespie added 13.
Devin Simon paced Northview (7-15) with 15 points with Tripper Northrup contributing 12.
Southview jumped all over Clay with an early 12-2 lead and never trailed in a 77-42 win.
Tim Hausfeld tallied a game-high 26 points, including six 3-pointers, for the Cougars (20-1).
Andy Borcherdt scored 16 and Bernard Pinckney added 10 for Southview, which won its 20th straight game.
Terrence Huggins led Clay (4-16) with 20 points and Terrelle Huggins had 12.
