McComb beats Vanlue in rout

VANLUE, Ohio - McComb turned Taylor Hanes loose and left town with a lopsided 47- 7 win over Vanlue.

Hanes carried four times for 132 yards, scored twice on identical 54-yard jaunts in the first and second quarters, respectively, for the Panthers (4-2, 3-2). He also hauled in a 16-yard pass play from Mason Roth.

The Wildcats (1-5, 0-5) lone score was by Austin Cook on a 25-yard run from scrimmage.

Cory-Rawson 27, Liberty-Benton 20

FINDLAY - Liberty-Benton took a 20-13 lead at the end of the first half, but Cory-Rawson came back with two third-quarter touchdowns to end the Eagles' unbeaten mark in the Blanchard Valley Conference. Cory-Rawson and Liberty Benton now both have 4-1 league records and are 4-2 overall.

Cory-Rawson rushed 33 times for 154 yards, while Liberty-Benton had 80 yards in 29 rushes. The Eagles had the advantage in the air, completing 17-of-42 passes for 237 yards.
