Mossing hits 44 for Evergreen

METAMORA - Chad Mossing scored a school-record 44 points to lead Evergreen to an 83-52 win Saturday night over Cardinal Stritch in boys basketball.

Lucas Pennington added 16 for the Vikings (6-1).

Justin Staler finished with 19 for the Cardinals (0-9).

TEMPERANCE - The Panthers (6-2) dominated the fourth quarter 34-11.

Ken Hayes scored 15, Franklin Lindsey 13, Darron Jones 12, Nigel Hayes 11 and Mike Szymanski 10 for the winners.

Jackson Lamb topped the Mules (2-3) with 19 points. Matt Lazette added 17 and Tyler Shock 14.
