Patriots rally past Holgate

HAMLER - Patrick Henry(7-3) outscored Holgate 15-4 in the final period to grab a 40-39 victory in girls basketball.

Ashley Christman led the winners with 11 points. Patrick Henry shot 40 percent from the field to 35 percent for Holgate.

CLAY 63, ROGERS 43

Megan Agoston scored a game-high 22 points to pace the visiting Eagles.

Meghan Scharer added 12 for Clay (4-6, 2-3)

Latisha White had 17 points for Rogers (2-8, 1-4). Kabria Walker had 12 for the Rams.

Perrysburg 57, Bowsher 41

At Bowsher, Kelsea Newman scored 18 and Erin Mesker 16 for the Yellow Jackets.

Ciara Hudson led Bowsher with 18 points.

LAKE 54, EASTWOOD 32

MILLBURY - The Flyers remained undefeated (9-0, 4-0) as Kaysie Brittenham tallied 20 points.

Jessica Abbey had 10 for Lake.

Eastwood (3-7, 2-3) was led by Ashley Seifert's six points.

DEFIANCE - Erica King scored 23 points to lead Pettisville.

Kaitlin Nofziger added 10 points for the Blackbirds (7-4). Kayla Zachrich paced Ayersville with 25 points.

CARDINAL STRITCH 58,

DANBURY 52

Elle McCloskey notched a double-double to lead Cardinal Stritch to a home win.

McCloskey scored 14 points and added 12 rebounds, and Amanda Sinay totaled 12 points and five steals for the Cardinals (3-7, 3-2). For Danbury (6-4, 3-1) Christine Longer scored 21 points and Heather Bahnsen 15

Findlay 59, Celina 55 2OT

FINDLAY - Danielle Sallsbury scored 19 points and Megan Lammers 14 for the Trojans. Cenzie Yoder led Celina with 20.

ARCHBOLD 53, STRYKER 39

ARCHBOLD - Hailey Galvan scored 19 points to lead Archbold, which improved to 11-1.

The Blue Streaks led 42-29 entering the fourth quarter. Torey Varner led Stryker (5-5) with 11 points.

OTSEGO 60,

BOWLING GREEN 49

TONTOGANY - Ashley Holzart poured in 27 points, including 12 in the third quarter, for the Knights.

Katelyn Downing added 14 for Otsego (7-4).

Bowling Green (6-5) was led by Bethany Hoehner's 19 and Hayley Williford's 17.

GENOA 62, GIBSONBURG 35

GENOA - Five Genoa players scored in double figures and the Comets held Gibsonburg to four points in both the second and fourth quarters.

Scoring 10 or more points for the Comets (10-1, 5-0) were Bailee Adams (14), Julie Swartzmiller (12), Alyssa Meis (11), and Jessica Feller, and Brandi Schimming with 10 a piece.

For Gibsonburg (3-7, 0-4) Sam Stainbrook scored 12 points and Jessica Whetsel 11.

WOODMORE 54,

ELMWOOD 31

BLOOMDALE - Woodmore (6-5) took a commanding 30-16 lead at halftime. Meghan Haar and Haley Speaker shared game scoring honors with 15 points each.

Emily Reynolds and Sierra Beckford each had 7 for Elmwood (1-9).

NORTHWOOD 50, DELTA 38

DELTA - Northwood scored 18 points in both the first and fourth quarters to prevail.

Rema Abdelhoq led the Rangers with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Kirsten Wegman chipped in with 12 points. Kathleen Przeslawski paced Delta with 19 points.

OAK HARBOR 57,

MARGARETTA 44

OAK HARBOR - The Rockets struck early, taking a 16-5 first quarter lead.

Kayla Diefenthaler had 17 points and 8 rebounds for Oak Harbor (4-6), while Sara Lipstraw scored 16 points.

LIBERTY-BENTON 62, BATH 44

LIMA - Amanda Hyde scored 26 points and Caite Craft tied a school record with 7 3-pointers and 21 points for undefeated Liberty-Benton (9-0). Emily Ruhe had 12 and Jessica Johns 11 for Bath (7-4).
