St. John's cruises past Lima Senior

St. John's Jesuit got 12 points and 16 rebounds from junior forward Zach Steinmetz as the Titans took a 53-32 victory over Lima Senior in a Division I regional semifinal Thursday night at Savage Arena.

The Titans (19-4) will play in a regional final at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the University of Akron against Massillon Jackson (22-2).

St. John's, which never trailed, bolted to a 14-2 lead and was never seriously tested.

St. John's got 15 points and nine rebounds from senior guard Jay Springs. Freshman forward Marc Loving added 14 points and five rebounds.
