COLUMBUS – Ottawa Hills lost to Newark Catholic 48-36 in the Division IV boys basketball state semifinal at Ohio State's Schottenstein Center Friday.
Ottawa Hills finishes its season 24-2, while Newark Catholic, which was the top-ranked D-IV team in the final state poll, advances to Saturday's 5:15 p.m. championship game with a 25-1 mark.
Freshman Lucas Janowicz led the Green Bears with nine points, while Eliot Browarsky added eight.
