HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: St. John's handed first defeat

BALTIMORE MT. ST. JOSEPH 75, ST. JOHN'S 61

RICHMOND, Va.—Mount St. Joseph (6-0) outscored the Titans 21-6 at the foul line in the Capital Classic as Davi Windsor had 21 points for the Baltimore school.

The Titans (5-1) were led by Marc Loving with 26, Nick Felhaber had 11, and Cheatham Norrils and Zach Steinmetz each had 10.

BEDFORD 74, SUMMERFIELD 51

The Mules (1-1) got a victory in the Emmanuel Christian tourney behind the 25 points of Jackson Lamb and Ryan Rightnowar's 18.

Jacob Gilstorf had 10 for the Bulldogs.

BOWSHER 81, EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN 44

The Rebels (5-1) rode a big 29-6 second quarter to the victory in the Warrior Classic. Robert Davis scored 18, Milan Mabry 16 and Lonacy Utley 10 for Bowsher.

Tony Behan had 22 and Ryan Creech 17 for the Warriors.

VAN BUREN 62, OTSEGO 46

TONTOGANY — Jude Palmer netted 22 points, Colin Stacy 14, and Drew Ashcraft 11 for Van Buren.

A.C. Limes scored 15 and Ryan Smoyer 12 for Otsego (1-4).

EVERGREEN 51, CARDINAL STRITCH 16

METAMORA — The Vikings jumped out to a 15-1 lead after the first quarter and were never threatened. Lauren Langenderfer scored 20 points to lead Evergreen.

The Cardinals were paced by Caty Rieker's five points.

SWANTON 49, GIBSONBURG 33

SWANTON — Paige Dzienkelew-ski scored 14 points for Swanton, and teammate Kendra Eitniear contributed 11 for the Bulldogs (2-5).

Katey Dushane led the Golden Bears (2-7) with 11 points.
