Czesak’s 99-yard run for TD sparks Mules

CARLETON, Mich. — Aaron Czesak scored three touchdowns, including a 99-yard run in the third quarter, in his debut Friday night as Bedford’s starting quarterback.

Czesak totaled 190 yards on 13 carries and was 3-of-5 passing for 62 yards. He also had TD runs of 3 and 15 in the first half to help Bedford build a 14-7 lead at intermission.

Jon Prajzner added 98 yards on 16 carries, including a 3-yard TD run in the third quarter for the Mules. Jon Shepherd scored on 5-yard TD run, as Bedford piled up 357 yards on the ground.

Justin Jones scored Airport’s lone touchdown on a 28-yard run in the first quarter.

Whiteford 36, Addison 29

OTTAWA LAKE — In a wild offensive game Addison scored in the final three seconds, then tried an onside kick that Whiteford recovered.

Gabe LaRoy hit on 12 of 20 passes for 186 yards, three touchdowns and two two-point pass conversions for Whiteford.

LaRoy threw TD passes to Aaron Kellerbauer (45 yards), Corey Roberts (21 and 43 yards).

Kellerbauer also rushed one yard for a score. Brian Tabbert had a 44-yard TD run.

Travis Wilkerson passed for two touchdowns and ran for another for Addison.

Whiteford had 138 yards rushing to go with its 186 passing. Addison had 109 yards rushing and 166 yards passing.

New Boston Huron 28, Erie Mason 8

ERIE, Mich. — Jesse Oyerbides scored Erie Mason’s lone touchdown on an 18-yard run in the fourth quarter.
