Miriam Justinger led Sylvania Northview with 20 points against Anthony Wayne.
The Sylvania Northview girls basketball team commanded Friday's Northern Lakes League contest with Anthony Wayne for a 83-41 victory.
Miriam Justinger and J.J. Jennings led Northview with 20 and 16 points, respectively. Sara Zankl scored 11 points to lead the Lady Generals.
Freshman starters also played a role in the Ladykats' dominating performance.
Kendall McCoy sunk back-to-back 3-pointers as the first points on the board and set the stage for Northview to hold a lead throughout the game.
“I thought Kendall McCoy stepped up to the plate for us tonight,” Northview coach Jerry Sigler said.
Freshman guard Maddie Fries' solid ball control combined with Northview's height advantage thwarted the Lady Generals.
“I always love freshman,” Sigler expressed. “They just keep getting better and better and better.”
