Big 3rd quarter lifts Notre Dame

Whittaker paces Eagles with 18; Evergreen's Langenderfer gets 30

NOTRE DAME 54, PERRYSBURG 38

Notre Dame ended the first half with a 26-21 lead, but exploded for a 17-3 third-quarter advantage to put the game away Saturday night in girls basketball.

Demy Whittaker led the Eagles (9-3) with 18 points. Jayda Worthy had 13 points, and Cat Wells finished with 11 points.

Kelsey Newman topped Perrrysburg (9-3) with 11 points and Taylor Knight scored 10.

SCOREBOARD

EVERGREEN 84, WOODWARD 24

METAMORA -- Lauren Langenderfer poured in 30 points, 28 of those coming in the first half, for the Vikings (9-3).

Kendalyn Noe added 14 and Danielle Marvin 10 for Evergreen (9-3).

K'Shanna Barnett paced the Polar Bears with 12 points.

sandusky 63, scott 35

Aschell Smith-Crager scored 24 points and her twin sister, Aryah, added 10 as the Blue Streaks (4-10) won at Rogers. Corresha Green added 15.

For the Bulldogs (1-13), Erica Besteder had 12.

TOLEDO CHRISTIAN 47, MAUMEE VALLEY 15

Camille Gift led Toledo Christian (10-2) with 13 points.

Darian Westmeyer added 11 and Kenzie Halder had 10 for the Eagles.

WHITMER 63, EASTWOOD 28

PEMBERVILLE -- Samantha Meinen, Taylor Derr and Keshyra McCarver each scored 10 points for the Panthers (8-5).

Diana Buschman led Eastwood with eight points.

NORTHWOOD 54, EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN 27

Becca Brisbee scored 15 points and Anna Raymond 12 for visiting Northwood.

Chelsea Graham had 12 points for Emmanuel Christian (0-8).

TIFFIN COLUMBIAN 43, ROSSFORD 41

TIFFIN -- The Tornadoes fell in overtime as Anna Williams hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer to finish with 20 points.

Williams also hit two free throws with no time on the clock in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime.

Margo Jackson had 15 points to lead Rossford (8-5) while Julie Hotz had 11.

DANBURY 43, GIBSONBURG 38

LAKESIDE--The Lakers (5-9, 5-4 TAAC) were led by Kelsey Clemons with 11 points.

Tana Baxter had eight for the Golden Bears (2-11, 2-7).

EDISON 45, OAK HARBOR 36

MILAN -- Cierra Reed scored 20 points and Susan Knight 14 to lead Edison.

Allison Dunn scored 11 points and Makayla Carpenter 10 for Oak Harbor (4-9, 1-9 SBC).
