Titans rally behind Loving's 30 points
St. John's, Whitmer, Central stay tied for first
THREE RIVERS ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
St. John's 49, Findlay 41
FINDLAY -- Marc Loving scored 30 points and 11 rebounds Friday night to help lift St. John's to a Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball game.
The Titans (11-4, 8-2 TRAC) put the defensive clamps on Findlay (9-5, 5-4) in the second half, giving up just 16 points in the final two periods while scoring 29 to rally. Loving had 22 in the second half.
The Trojans led 25-20 at halftime.
Boston Ballmer led the Trojans with 11, as the Titans held Findlay's leading scorer C.J. Gettys (19.3 average) to eight points.

At Clay, the Irish (12-3, 8-2) were led by Cliff Bussey with 16 points and Deontae Cole with 13.

CITY LEAGUE BOYS
Bowsher 79, Waite 66
Mookie Mustafaa scored 35 points, 23 in the first half, to help the Rebels notch a win Friday night in City League boys basketball.
Eric Hopkins, Jr., had 14 points and Nate Allen 13 for Bowsher (11-4, 6-2 CL).
DeVonte Hughes led Waite (2-12, 1-7) with 16 points. Kevin Carter had 14 and Travon Howard 13.
The Rebels led 18-10 after the first quarter and 38-30 at half.
Scott 77, Woodward 57
The Bulldogs (9-6, 6-2) had balanced scoring, paced by Jamal Richardson with 15 points.
Shaquille Allen and Delaquin Norwood each scored 12, while Rashad Lane, Marcus Gilmore, and Dontonio Kynard each had 10.
Demarcus Smith led Woodward (1-12, 0-8) with 16 points, Miker Gary had 15, and Jalen Wells 10.
NORTHERN LAKES LEAGUE
Perrysburg 60, Southview 49
Shane Edwards scored 29 points and as the Yellow Jackets cruised to a Northern Lakes League boys basketball win.
Scott Milne chipped in 10 points for Perrysburg (9-5, 8-3 NLL).
Allen Gant paced the Cougars (6-9, 4-7) with 22 points and Brandon Sinram contributed 11.
Napoleon 78, Bowling Green 49
NAPOLEON -- The Wildcats (12-3, 10-1) cruised to the win after opening the game with a 24-1 first-quarter lead.
Jordan Myles had 21 points to lead the way, while Fulton Lankenau had 16 and Jordan Lauf 14.
Stone LaMonta had 11 for the Bobcats (8-9, 6-5).
Anthony Wayne 47, Springfield 44
Mark Donnal scored 28 points and visiting Anthony Wayne (12-4, 8-3 NLL) was 14 of 16 from the free-throw line to Springfield's 6 of 8.
Matt Fox had 11 points for the Generals.
Logan Wymer led Springfield (4-12, 1-10) with 10 points.
Northview 60, Maumee 54
Conner Hartnett poured in 26 points and the Wildcats outscored the Panthers 15-3 in the second quarter.
James Racicot had 19 points for Northview (4-12, 2-9).
Maumee's Shawn Flanagan led all scorers with 28 points, while Dominique King had 12 for the Panthers (7-9, 5-6).
NORTHERN BUCKEYE CONFERENCE
Lake 59, Rossford 56
With the score tied at 56, Jayce Vancena grabbed a rebound of a missed shot, made the put-back and was fouled with nine seconds left, finishing the three-point play and giving Lake the Northern Buckeye Conference boys basketball victory at Owens Community College.
The teams combined for 48 points in the last quarter -- with the Flyers holding a 26-22 edge. This came after a seven-point third quarter in which Rossford hit just one free throw and was 0 for 12 from the field.
Vancena finished with 10 points, while Ra'Shad Smith scored 15, Jared Rettig 11 and Josh Tantari 10 for the Flyers (12-4, 8-2 NBC).
Manny Durden and Larry Sloan each tossed in 17 points for Rossford (4-11, 4-6).
Eastwood 60, Woodmore 48
PEMBERVILLE -- After trailing 30-23 at the half, the Eagles took charge in the second half by draining their free throws.
Jake Faykosh, who had 16 points, made 11 of 12 free throws in the fourth quarter as Eastwood (11-5, 7-3) pulled away.
Cody Jennings contributed 14 points for the Eagles. Lincoln Peters and Jake Schmeltz added 12 points apiece.
The Wildcats (6-9, 3-7) had Cody Croll, Jake Lewandowski, and Donny Bowen score 10 points apiece, but were outscored 18-6 at the foul line.
Elmwood 62, Genoa 49
BLOOMDALE -- Tyler Rosendale poured in 25 points and Aaron Arnold added 16 for the Royals (8-6, 5-5).
Genoa (5-10, 2-8) was led by Joey Newland with 15, Tyler Pickard with 11 and Mark Vogelpohl with 10.
Otsego 62, Fostoria 55
FOSTORIA -- The Knights (9-5, 6-4) were led by Ryan Smoyer with 14 points, Jerome Griffin 12, A.C. Limes 11, and John Thomas 10.
Xaner Rusin led the Redmen (6-9, 5-5) with 23. Tyler Layton had 12, and Brandon Glenn 11.
NORTHWEST OHIO ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
Bryan 62, Swanton 48
BRYAN -- The Golden Bears (5-9, 4-3) were led by Austin Schimmoeller with 19 points Friday night in Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys basketball.
Aaron Bruot 16, and Liam Phillips 14.
Vernon Williams led all scorers with 20 for the Bulldogs (7-8, 2-5) while Paul Kennedy added 12.
Evergreen 56, Montpelier 42
METAMORA -- Clayton Wielinski hit four 3-pointers as part of his 16 points for the Vikings.
Matt Brighton had 15 points for Evergreen (4-11, 2-3) while Dylan Henricks had 11.
Montpelier (3-12, 0-6) was led by T.J. Reeder's 18 points.
TOLEDO AREA ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
Northwood 50, Emmanuel Christian 47
Evan Perkins scored 20 points as the Rangers held on in Toledo Area Athletic Conference boys basketball victory.
Northwood led 27-18 at halftime before the Warriors closed to within 35-29 after three quarters.
Tyler Williams added 11 and John Segura 10 for Northwood (3-12, 2-8 TAAC).
Ryan Creech led Emmanuel Christian (7-7, 4-5) with 29. Josh Regnier finished with 12.
Ottawa Hills 46, Cardinal Stritch 31
Lucas Janowicz poured in 25 points for the Green Bears. R.J. Coil added 10 points for Ottawa Hills (7-7, 5-4).
Marquise Harrison led the Cardinals (6-8, 3-6) with nine points.
Gibsonburg 89, Danbury 53
LAKESIDE -- The Golden Bears (12-2, 8-1) stay tied atop the league standings with Maumee Valley thanks to 18 points from Gage Beaber, while Dylan Dorfmeyer and Nate Yarborogh each added 16, and Jordan Kirwen had 14.
Dalton Chapman pumped in 17 for Danbury (0-14, 0-9), while Colton Hillar had 11, and Dominic Manvella had 10.
NW OHIO AREA BOYS
Pettisville 53, Edon 35
PETTISVILLE -- The Blackbirds (10-4, 7-0 Buckeye Border Conference) were led with 18 points from David Reyes.
Keegan Long led the Bombers with 10.
Fayette 42, Stryker 35
FAYETTE -- Jessie Rodriguez scored 10 points as the Eagles (10-5) used an 18-8 fourth quarter to win.
Stryker (10-5) was led by Jared Degroff's 12 points.
SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN BOYS
Whiteford 82, Britton-Deerfield 68
OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. -- Colin Lake poured in 26 to lead the Bobcats to a victory Friday night in Tri-County Conference boys basketball.
Sean Lowler tallied 18 for Whiteford (8-4).
Devin Gruber led Britton-Deerfield (6-7) with 20. Jordan Osburn added 16.
Ann Arbor Huron 60, Bedford 55
ANN ARBOR -- Mike Lewis had 15 points and Allen Thomas 11 for the River Rats (8-4, 5-1), who outscored the Mules 16-3 in the second quarter.
Jackson Lamb had 21 points and 12 rebounds for Bedford (9-4, 4-2 SEC). Ryan Rightnowar had 15 points.
Blissfield 47, Erie Mason 30
BLISSFIELD, Mich. -- The Royals (10-3, 4-2, Lenawee County Athletic Association) were led by Connor Vandecaveye with 12 points, Devon Moore added 10.
The Eagles are 3-10, 1-5 in the conference.
