Quarterback Zach Kalinoski and wide receiver Jim Chamberlain connected on two touchdown completions, including an 89-yarder, to lead Danbury past Cardinal Stritch 26-18 in a Toledo Area Athletic Conference matchup.
Kalinoski completed 12 of 18 passes for 256 yards. His second touchdown completion to Chamberlain covered 16 yards to give Danbury a 23-6 advantage during the second quarter.
Kalinoski also scored on a one-yard run for Danbury (2-2, 1-0 TAAC).
Jim Dorko helped the Lakers' cause by kicking field goals of 23 and 25 yards.
Danbury's Cody German gained 88 yards on 18 carries.
Zach Denomy rushed for 194 yards on 31 carries, including touchdown runs of 25, 33, and 11 yards, to carry the Cardinals (1-3, 0-1). Stritch rushed for 300 yards on 50 carries for the game.
