Rogers eyes CL title trophy for another year
People with cameras on their cell phones could barely wait for the final seconds to tick off the game clock of Friday night's contest between Rogers and Waite before taking snapshots of the scoreboards in the Rams gymnasium.

Ross jumps on Clay early, rolls to easy win
In the Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball opener for both teams, Fremont Ross coach Mark Gedeon saw plenty he liked from his Little Giants, while Clay coach Rob Belegrin saw very little.
Ross (2-0, 1-0 TRAC) jumped on the Eagles from the outset, put the pedal to the metal, and never looked back in taking a 68-41 victory at Clay.

Jackets attacks force BG errors
Perrysburg used suffocating pressure defense and balanced athleticism to remain undefeated early in the 2012-13 season.The Yellow Jackets forced Bowling Green to turn the ball over 25 times Friday night. The full-court press attack resulted in a 60-50 triumph over the Bobcats.
Perrysburg led by eight at the half and then opened the third quarter with a 13-2 run to go up 41-22. The Yellow Jackets came up with four steals during the key spurt. Read more here
